Our Founder
Magan Kalra is a leadership development practitioner whose work blends business understanding, behavioural insight, and deeply experiential learning design.
His journey into the field was unconventional. Early in his career, while working service jobs and serving tables, he developed a deep appreciation for human behaviour, humility, and the everyday realities of work. Those formative experiences shaped a perspective that continues to influence his thinking about leadership and performance today.
Over the years, Magan has worked with leaders across industries and cultures, including multinational organisations and Fortune 500 companies. This exposure has shaped a practical understanding of how leadership capability must translate into decisions, conversations, and actions in real business environments.
His facilitation style is known for combining powerful storytelling, immersive learning experiences, and high-energy engagement with thoughtful reflection and behavioural insight. Participants do not simply absorb ideas — they experience them, test them, and translate them into action.
A core belief that underpins his work is simple: lasting business growth rarely happens without personal growth. When individuals expand how they think, communicate, and lead, the organisations around them begin to perform differently.
This philosophy — learning by doing, reflecting deeply, and applying insight to real work — eventually shaped the experiential approach that defines Performance Advantage Group.
Magan is also the author of the best-selling book “Success Isn’t a Problem, Our Ignorance Is,” which explores the mindset shifts that enable individuals and organisations to unlock greater potential.
